YUM. I would be tempted to double the Mexican dish recipe and turn it into a Mexican lasagna. Key Lime Pie is in my top 3 favorite pies (it might actually be #1). I love it so. Thank you for sharing the pic of my mom's old footed tube pan, as well as the link to BD xox

I use my “penguin” for ice at pie making classes when we make ice water but jello? Wow! I might have to actually make some using it!

Such a fun backstory landing in LA, Amie—love “Cinco de What?” And the big hair. So many appealing recipes too (especially the key lime pie!)—good summer party fare for sure!🥳

The citrus salad sounds delish! I actually have that penguin “ice bucket” I believe it was my grandmothers. If anyone ever watched “Arrested Development” you may have seen that Lucille Bluth also had one:) I took a picture of it…not quite sure how to share😊

I’d LOVE to see it! Sadly, photos can’t be attached to comments in substack. I *could* start a Cook & Tell reader conversation via substack’s chat feature, but honestly, we’re all a little overwhelmed, right??

The simplest way is to text me—maybe it will show up in a future issue, and/or Instagram!

Exactly, Vicki—the Mexican dish and salad are easy, for sure! The pie is a bit more laborious but oh so worth it!
