I also DID NOT KNOW that there was a ferry from Newfoundland to France, and I’m 50% Newfoundlander! Adding that to my own to do list, and would love to share Newfoundland experiences with you soon!

Hi, Amie, I made my plant-based adaptation of the Ship City Blueberry Molasses Cake this morning. We can't wait to try it and thank you again for sharing your recipe! May I cite you in my post for today? I want to give credit where credit is due. 😊 I'll let you know how it turned out. Yum! It smells delicious!

Just an FYI, baking time for the blueberry cake is 45-50 min. I mistakenly left it off the original post but it's fixed on the printable recipe if you use that. Enjoy!

A bakery tour ... now, that's something I could get behind! But dill pickle soup? I'm going to need to do some Google rabbit holing before I understand that one, lol.

I can testify to the deliciousness of Maine blueberries and all the wonderful products made from them (I’m in love with the jam!).🫐This molasses blueberry cake is going on my “must-try” list. Might like that dill pickle dip recipe too. Newfoundland and a return visit to Maine is definitely on our bucket list. Yummy post, Amie!🤗

I’m thinking we need our own foodie ferry for the Newfoundland trip! A culinary cruise, perhaps?

I didn’t know about that ferry either. It’s on my bucket list now, too, as is sitting on your porch, drinking limeaid and talking recipes and life, Amie. 💕

About an hour and a half south of me. My dad had a place on Peaks Island for 40 years so very familiar with all the Casco Bay isles. And ferries 🥴 You’re welcome any time, would love to meet you in a non-Zoom environment.
