Nothing quite compares to holding an actual note in hand. I recently discovered two notes that my great grandmother sent my great aunt in 1915. I look forward to your recipes and insights in 2024.

And your comment about wanting to be an author at age 8 - somewhere I have my first diary, and in the front inside cover I wrote, “I am a writer at age 8!!” I wonder what it was about turning 8 - new awareness of becoming an adult maybe? Your recipe exploration sounds like a wonderful 2024 project.
