I am honoured to be showcased - not shamed - for my fish sticks!! Thank you Amie x

I'm right there with you, fish sticks at the ready when inspiration and time are slim.

Cheers so much, Cynthia! They're the good ones - all haddock - and the best "fast food" I know :)

Thanks for the mention, Amie! Reading everyone's method makes me want to watch a movie or mini-series about all these wonderful women and their histories with making stuff in their kitchens. The family ties are huge. So lovely.

Now that would be a mini series!

That would be such fun!

Thanks for including me among this esteemed group! I had to laugh at the idea that we all keep "piles"- invariably organized

Wow, so great to hear the range of experiences, the overwhelm is real! I especially relate to Sharon's comment about how hard it is to purge anything from these beloved collections.

Thanks for including me, Amie! Like Ruth, I do also use Pinterest when I'm enticed by a photo, but I infrequently wind up making the recipes.

Love this, Amie, and thank you!

“At Cook & Tell, we’re not just a newsletter, we’re a community!” Truly we are, as this post shows. Thanks so much for including me, Amie. 🤗

I had to laugh at Sue Sutherland-Wood’s comment about pouring through binders full of recipe possibilities, only to turn to frozen fish sticks at the last minute. That’s a familiar scenario in this house, though it’s veggie burgers and succotash that it wind up on the table.
