Cheers so much, Cynthia! They're the good ones - all haddock - and the best "fast food" I know :)

Thanks for the mention, Amie! Reading everyone's method makes me want to watch a movie or mini-series about all these wonderful women and their histories with making stuff in their kitchens. The family ties are huge. So lovely.

Wow, so great to hear the range of experiences, the overwhelm is real! I especially relate to Sharon's comment about how hard it is to purge anything from these beloved collections.

Thanks for including me, Amie! Like Ruth, I do also use Pinterest when I'm enticed by a photo, but I infrequently wind up making the recipes.

“At Cook & Tell, we’re not just a newsletter, we’re a community!” Truly we are, as this post shows. Thanks so much for including me, Amie. 🤗

I had to laugh at Sue Sutherland-Wood’s comment about pouring through binders full of recipe possibilities, only to turn to frozen fish sticks at the last minute. That’s a familiar scenario in this house, though it’s veggie burgers and succotash that it wind up on the table.
